Aluminum Sulfate Synonyms: Aluminium sulfate,

Aluminium sulfate dodecahydrate; Aluminium sulphate hydrate

1.Properties :

Molecular formula: Al2(SO4)3•18H2O

White to off white pieces or flakes.

Density 1.69. Soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol.

Melts and swells under heating.

2.Specification (according to HG2227-91):

(1)Al2O3, %    more than 15.6%

(2)Fe, %           less than 0.7%  or non-ferric

(3)pH (1% aq. sol.)           more than 0.3%

(4)Water insoluble substances, %      less than 0.15%

(5)As, %       less than 0.0005

(6)Heavy metal (Pb), %    less than 0.002%

3.Application:

(1)Tanning leather, sizing paper, mordant in dyeing;

(2) purifying water;

(3)fireproofing and waterproofing cloth; clarifying oils and fats;

(4) treating sewage;

(5)waterproofing concrete.

4.Packaging & Storage:

PE lined woven bag, net weight 50Kg.

Store in a cool, dry, ventilated place.
